Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Hotel Sorat, I was delighted to experience the culinary offerings at the Brandner restaurant, which is celebrated not only for its creative meals but also for its serene ambiance overlooking the river. I particularly enjoyed breakfast, with an extensive buffet that catered to both continental and full English tastes—an ideal start to a day of exploration. One evening, I had the pleasure of dining by candlelight, an understated yet romantic setting, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The antipasti buffet was fresh and varied, while the main courses—ranging from fish to local meats—echoed the region’s rich culinary traditions. The outdoor patio was a bonus, allowing guests to sip wine while enjoying stunning views of the old town. I personally found this space inviting and perfect for savoring both the meal and the moment. I recommend Hotel Sorat to anyone seeking a gastronomic experience amid appealing surroundings.
